Come to the Fireside Room at Rossmoor to enjoy a glass of champagne and celebrate the launch of Addie Mattox's second novel Saigon USA.
My Story
Addie Mattox is a semi-retired business woman who loves to, read, write, play pickleball and bridge. Early in her career, she taught English as a Second Language to foreign adults. This experience sparked a life-long fascination with people from other cultures.

Her first novel, Hot Air and Love, was inspired by a hot air ballon pilot she met in Kenya. Her second novel, Saigon USA, is the result of her friendship with a Vietnamese friend who escaped on a boat after the Fall. Addie's third book, Mally's Education, portrays the struggle of a single mom to let her daughter make mistakes and love her regardless. Addie's fourth novel, The Crevasse, is being reviewed by potential literary agents.

Addie grew up in Pasadena, California and now lives in Walnut Creek, California with her husband.

Spanning two continents; a must read for those who love adventure, travel and romance. Reading this book allows the reader to feel what it's like to live and work in Kenya, remind you how fragile love is and more importantly how strong a woman really can be. It's one of those books you keep in your library after you've read it, because you know you'll pick it up again for another read. I laughed, cried and sighed. Excellent Read.
